I seem to have lost contact with Near... I may end up having to take on his research. Though I'm 67.8% sure I've gotten the anwser on my own.

I'm not sure what to do with Near gone, at the moment. I'm guessing I can continue/restart Near's work, but still, it's got me a little confused...))

Why is he here?
I've so far made contact with one of my successors, but I highly suspect that the others may be here, as well.
Judging from what I've read through the community log so far, this seems to be a sort of parallel universe? Or several universes squished together, in some sense?
Maybe an alternate reality. It seems to be that way, at least...
My suspicions of Kira's involvement are considerably low, however.
Kira has power over death, and the victim's actions beforehand.
This seems to be another power entirely...

I'm trying to decide what should be kept and what should be trashed... I think the older posts are an okay reference, so they're going to stay. Other than that, though...
It's probably better to assume that L hasn't interacted yet.
I THINK we've worked out that this Yotsuba Arc-esque L, and that Near and Mello are from the future.
But what about Light and Misa?
